red square

oh hello,

yeah so i am half drunk off boxed white wine that doesn't taste like wine at all, but anyways, that is besides the point. so today was productive, dylan and i woke up at 6 am due to jetlag. we figure it is a nine hour later time difference here. after we ate some food we trecked down to red square, which was pretty incredible. we went into and around st. basil's cathedral and then went into the gum shopping centre, which was pretty cool to see to. we are going to head back in a day or two to check out the state history musuem and lenin's masoleum to see his body, which should be wild.

we then ate lunch reasonably close to our hostel at a restaurant and had a giant sized beer. and i mean giant. then when we got back at around 2 pm, we decided to have a small afternoon nap, but jetlag made us sleep to about 8pm. when we got up we were going to make a stir fry with pasta, but realized we somehow left our pasta and bread at the grocery store, so we just had a vegetable and beef concoction.

i am having trouble uploading pictures right now, the internet is acting weird, so i will do them in the morning or something.

alrighty then,

talk to you folks later.

  1. You sure it wasn't the giant sized beer that made you sleep until 8pm? Bree (Briana) Finlay. P.S. Say hi to Dylan for me (Dylan's cousin). P.P.S Love your blog, so great to hear other peoples travel stories and you'll be amazed when you read it again in a few years! P.P.P.S. If you make it to Colmar, France come and stop by.
