we made it.

hey folks,

so we made it to moscow, i am now sitting in the godzilla hostel here and it's 11 pm. the plane ride was long, but i managed to keep myself entertained watching the wrestler, revolutionary road and frost/nixon: good movies, i recommend them. anyways, dylan and i made it to moscow around 4:30 pm i believe and while we were in customs gerrit had just arrived and he spotted us, so that went smoothly.

then came the aero express train, that went good too, it was about a forty five minute ride into the city because the airport is on the outskirts. then came the russian subway system, oh jesus. it puts toronto to shame in a terrible way, it is a behemoth. anyways, after going to the wrong stop and wandering around on the street we finally translated what stop we needed to be at to get to the hostel. when we got off we walked the streets for probably another half hour and then finally realized the hostel was much closer to the subway stop than we thought. anyways, we haven't done much yet, we decided to be original tonight and ate at the local pizza hut, and now we plan to drink a little.

tomorrow we are going to tour to red square which should be awesome, so i will let you know how that adventure pans out.
