goodbye moscow

so today we walked around the city some more, hoping to get to Lenin's masoleum, but it is closed down for the annual mayday celebration in the city, which celebrates the victory in world war 2. yesterday we went to the war museum which had some very cool displays in it, both from history and modern day. out back they had alot of vehicles too, from the tanks to the fighter jets.
we managed to fight off the jetlag without having a nap, but ended up passing out around 9 pm. we ended walking to gorky park today which was a park full of many random statues, and then we came back to the hostel.

so tomorrow our train leaves for st. petersburg at 12:30 pm, and we arrive there around 8 pm. i have heard pretty sketchy things about the puppet hostel we are staying at there for five nights and i don't think there is free internet there as there was in this hostel. so i will attempt to get to an internet cafe, or just post later when we are out of the city in a different hostel with internet.
anyways, i think we are actually going to hit up a russian bar tonight, as crazy as it sounds, so wish us luck.
